Instructions for Presenters

The presentation format for all accepted papers will be a poster plus a 4-minute spotlight talk.

Spotlights presentation

Each paper is allocated a 4-minute spotlight talk. The schedule of the spotlights sessions will be tight so please make sure you don't exceed this time limit by practicing it at least once under realistic conditions. A good rule-of-thumb is to have one title slide plus three slides: research question, method, and main outcome. Do not try to give too many details, use this as a pitch to attract other participants to your poster.

In order to ensure a smooth transition between the presentations, please send your slides (preferably in pdf) to dcase.workshop@gmail.com at least 48 hours before your session. We will copy them to the presenter laptop for you.

Poster preparation

Posters should have A0 size and be in portrait orientation (width x height: 84.1 cm x 118.9 cm / 33.1 in x 46.8 in). There is no template and there are no special requirements regarding the content beyond what is usually expected from a scientific poster.
