Instructions for Presenters

Authors of accepted papers will present their work through a poster, complemented by a concise 3-minute spotlight talk.

Spotlights presentation

Each paper is allocated a 3-minute spotlight talk. The schedule of the spotlights sessions will be tight so please make sure you don't exceed this time limit by practicing it at least once under realistic conditions. A practical tip is to have one title slide plus three key slides: research question, method, and main outcome. Do not try to give too many details, use this as a pitch to attract other participants to your poster. In order to ensure a smooth transition between the presentations, please send your slides (preferably in pdf) to dcase.workshop@gmail.com at least 48 hours before your session. We will copy them to the presenter laptop for you.

Poster preparation

Posters should be printed in A0 size with portrait orientation (width x height: 841mm × 1189mm). There is no template and there are no special requirements regarding the content beyond what is usually expected from a scientific poster. For international travelers, printing can also be arranged at local copy shops near the venue (list to be inserted).
